The anvil shaped ATR crystal with with a 100µm contact area allows you to target only the area of interest with full performance. In combination with the knife edge aperture included in the HYPERION, features below 10 µm can be resolved spatially.
Focal plane array detector (FPA)
FTIR imaging is possible with modern focal plane array (FPA) detector technology utilizing the acquisition of thousands of spectra per second. High-resolution chemical images can be collected in a matter of just a few seconds. Up to 16.384 spectra can be measured simultaneously, resulting in images of up to 340 x 340 μm.
Grazing Angle Objective
Designed for the measurement of small areas of coatings on metal surfaces. This objective has unique and patented design features that give excellent sensitivity, unmatched spatial resolution, and the ability to utilize polarized light in the grazing mode.
IMAC Spectral Macro Imaging
The IMAC is a purgable external sample cabinet designed for the imaging spectroscopy using modern focal plane array (FPA) detection technology. Using this module large sample areas (up to 5.1 x 5.1mm) can be analyzed simultaneously at a high spatial resolution (40µm), while the acquisition time is usually several seconds. The IMAC is equipped with the QuickLock base plate to use accessories and CCD camera.
