First responders
Whether it is industrial or traffic accidents, environmental disasters, chemical spills, acts of terrorism or any other emergency, the primary response to these situations is by emergency services, firefighters and first aid units. Chemical safety analysis is a key factor in managing such events. Bruker has developed a range of optimized detectors and systems for these situations:
The RAPIDplus IC system enables immediate detection and identification of chemical substances at distances of up to 5,000 meters. The E2M mobile GC/MS system is used to identify complex substances and materials at the scene of an emergency.
A range of IMS detectors is also available - the RAID-M 100 is the leading handheld system for the detection of chemical warfare agents (CWAs), while the RAID-P and RAID-XP are suitable for vehicles and the RAID-S2 plus is a stationary device. Radiation analysis is provided by SVGps and Radiation Probe.
